RAW SENSES is an exhibition format focussed on supporting innovative contemporary designers and presenting them in Switzerland. To promote and uphold new design visions, we work to nurture contemporary creative practitioners interested in the physical manifestation of objects. In temporary exhibition spaces and through thematic approaches, Raw Senses provides a platform to address questions of around the conditions of contemporary making. Above all, Raw Senses intends to establish a sustainable space and platform for experience and collaboration. Raw Senses believes in the value of design to create engagement and help make sense of
the complexities and challenges of today.

Second Nature presents a collection that includes textiles, ceramics, lighting objects and small furniture pieces. Common to all is an approach that can
be interpreted as 'sampling' – a process that borrows fragments from other contexts to organize them into a new relationship. This re-reading and collaging of existing materials stand for artistic approaches that freely move between medium and context to bring forth intriguing objects and new ways to imagine our bonds with the things around us.

MIS TAKES!
AMArchitectrue, an architecture office from Milan, curates the space ASSABone at the yearly Salone del Mobile in Milan. We applied as a participant in the exhibition of objects bound to the topic of MISTAKES! With our interpretation, or mis-interpretation, of industrial objects and their translation from a former use into furniture, we seem to have evoked sympathies in the jury. We were allowed to join the exhibition with our furniture pieces Profi Lit, Profi Little and Mono Rock.

The project “nail studio” by Hotmail/Hotnail started as a pop-up salon on Langstrasse in Zurich. Within a very short time, the space became a social gathering place for all sorts of young people. After the interim lease expired, the popular niche salon moved back into an area of the city that had lost public spaces as part of the gentrification process, the Niederdorf. Accordingly, the interior concept focuses on everything that happens around the actual nail art, offers seating and stages, and transports, by means of projection, the interior onto the street.
